★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went on a girls trip and had an amazing time at River retreat camp. Location is perfect with river side view and the food is also amazing with lots of varieties. The camp is spacious and clean. The owner Mahesh treated us like friends and was so helpful and friendly in everything. Full Marks for hospitality. The place is safe for girls or solo trip and family outings. We had a great time and the place is a must visit for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ River Retreat camp was an amazing experience for us. The camp site is located adjacent to the road on a downhill. The camps are huge and luxurious, it's rare to find so many facilities on such a high altitude. The tents were neat and clean with attached private washrooms. Host Mahesh was very courteous and polite. He became our local guide for trails in and around Barot. The food served to us was fresh and very delicious. We also had the pleasure of having local trout fish thanks to our host. In totality, it was a wonderful experience and I will visit this place again and recommend all the readers to go without thinking. Its budget friendly and you will feel at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to visit but we travels from delhi and it took 15 hours by 15 sweater traveler. And this place is not that much worth to visit this much far just spend 30 hours in travel.. it not good...

Food is very nice and overall its an amazing experience to stay in d place but the only drawback here is the staff drinks everynight and It doesnt feel safe because of that bcz the place is really secluded.

I have stayed in multiple camp sites but staying in River retreat barot was my best ever experience
