Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon. All that I wanted to order was not available. Finally I ordered two dishes : 1. Chicken nachos 2. Alfredo pasta Both were below average. Tasteless. The place were full of dust. The salsa sauce was just like regular tomato ketchup. The service was slow.

A small place in Koregaon park, decent food and best if you are not getting a table in any of the top restaurants near it. We tried Barbeque chicken wings, and their Indian style pizza. Both of them were good. Should you go there ? - Worth a try.

It is a small not huge place in KP amongst many other restaurants like Effingut,Sassy Spoon ,Pesto Pesto around it.It is just next to Pesto Pesto,above National Bar n Kitchen.Service was prompt n good.Food quantity n quantity are both excellent.Menu has good selection options .For starters we ordered BBQ Wings (8 pcs),Loaded Garlic Bread.Both were up to the mark.Next was Tandoori Chicken Pizza n Tandoori Chicken Burger both were different in taste from each other being tandoori yet we're very nice.Finally we ordered a Tandoori Paneer Tikka which was also great.Overall it was a good experience.

Comparatively smaller place than others in the locality, but this doesn't degrade it, the food is amazing, great ambience and a cozy place. The food was very delicious, at affordable rates. They even have happy hours, and unlike other cafés they have happy hours on mocktails too, they do not have lot of mocktails to offer from, but all 4 are amazing. They have a two floor seating and even have some tables outside in the passage. The staff is very cooperative and the service is also fast. Overall a great place and you should definitely visit sometime.

'Robust' is comparatively a new place in Koregaon Park, still it is well established for thier tasty and pocket-friendly breakfast dishes. Recently they also started to serve lunch. So. I tried : FOOD : 1.BEANED NACHOS [Rs.250] : I had never tried this combo, ie. beans and nachos but it did taste really well. Yummy sauce like salsa with beans in it was all over crispy nachos and was topped with finely chopped onion and sour cream 2.LOADED POTATO POPPERS [Rs.220] : This was TOO GOOD. Small balls of potato were fried crisply and garnished with red bell pepper and sour cream. Also, the cheese sauce at the bottom was going really well with these poppers. 3.PANEER TIKKA [Rs.300] : This is everyone's favourite indian starter. Robust served this dish very beaautifully. The paneer was soft & properly marinated and grilled perfectly in tandoor. 4.HERB GARLIC MUSHROOMS [Rs.280] : Generally I don't eat mushrooms but these were good. It had nice garlicky taste with lots of chilli flakes in it. Mushrooms were served with garlic bread. The presentation of the dish was simply amazing. 5. MADRAS CURRY : This was a creamy and mildly spiced gravy served with steamed rice. The curry was superb with a nice fresh coconut taste. The curry had mixed veggies in it. 6.ALFREDO PASTA : This my all time favorite pasta. This pasta creamy and cheesy and really tasty. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I just felt that the quantity was little less. 7.VEG TAWA BIRYANI [Rs.320] : I was satisfied with the quanity of biryani. Also, the taste was pretty good but I felt that it could be better in terms of flavours and masala. It was served in a plate with salad, papad and raita. 8.SIZZLING BROWNIE [Rs.250] : This is RECOMMENDED. The brownie was tasty topped with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and lots of nuts. The nuts gave a nice crunch to brownie. AMBIANCE : It is a nice, cozy place. The logo of this place is very nice. The seating arrangement is mostly on the ground floor but there are some tables on the floor above it also. This is a nice place to hangout with friends as they serve alocohol at pretty low price. SERVICE : I was happy with their service. The staff is nice and the service is prompt.

Robust is an all day dining restaurant located in Lane No 7 of Koregaon Park and serves Finger Food and Fast Food. They do have good options in bar menu as well and have various offers for Happy Hours. The décor of this place is pleasant and seating is comfortable. They have two seating areas with majority of the seating on ground level and few tables on the upper floor. I visited this place to try their breakfast menu. We tried below mentioned dishes: Chicken & Pork Sausage: I tried chicken sausage. Although I am not a sausage lover it was good in taste. Masala Omlette: A fully loaded masala omlette with finely chopped onion, tomatoes, coriander was superb in taste. It was folded into a neat half moon. It was served along with warm toasted bread slices. The quantity of omlette in this dish is really huge. #Highlyrecommended Chicken Tikka Sandwich: Superbly grilled sandwich with generous amount of chicken tikka filing was mild on spice levels but was truly flavourful. The chicken was juicy and properly cooked. Definitely a must have at Robust. #Highlyrecommended. Pulled Chicken Toastie: Tender and juicy shredded chicken was well cooked with mayo and herbs based creamy sauce, the cheese was nicely melted, and wasn’t dry. It was truly delicious.The bread was nicely grilled. #Recommended Bacon Strips: I skipped having bacon but my friends did like it a lot. Masala Oats: The oats were nicely done with green peas and finely chopped veggies and was good in taste. It was served hot. A good option for healthy breakfast. Paneer Bhurji: The crumbled panner (cottage cheese) was fresh and moist; it was done in finely chopped onions, tomatoes, cumin seeds and spices. It was served with slightly toasted bread slices and was good in taste. #Recommended Baked Beans on Toast: I must say that this was undoubtedly the best baked beans on the toast which I have had, the beans were nicely baked and done in a spicy and tangy sauce and the bread was toasted to perfection. #Highlyrecommended. Cheese Mushroom Tostie: Well grilled sandwich with cheese and mushroom was a delight to my tastebud. Frankly I didn’t expect this to be so good. It was fully loaded with cheese. #Recommended. Watermelon Juice: The juice was freshly prepared with no added sugar and ice and was truly refreshing. I really loved it. #Highlyrecommended Overall: Service was prompt and restaurant was hygienic. Staff was polite and courteous. Robust does have really good options in breakfast and is reasonably priced. The presentation of all dishes was good.It is indeed in my recommended list of places to have breakfast.

As John Gunther has rightly said “ All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast”. Robust makes sure you treat it as the most important meal of the day. It is handled by “The Bar and Eatery” Management and situated right between Boteco and Mocha in Koregaon Park. With their huge breakfast menu but completely pocket friendly , they have the super powers to surprise you and give a refreshing kick start to your day! As many know , I am completely an owl and getting up early even for breakfast is a pain for me. But when I got to know that I was invited for a tasting at Robust , I was more than excited as I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about the place. The exquisite breakfast items which totally made my Sunday are as follows : Veg - 1) Masala Oats 2) Paneer Bhurji 3) Baked Beans on Toast 4) Cheesy Mushroom Toastie Non Veg - 1) Sausages Pork & Chicken 2) Masala Omelette 3) Chicken Tikka Sandwich 4) Pulled Chicken Toastie 5) Bacon Strips An overview of my recommendations : •    Baked beans on toast – Baked beans on toast has always been one of my favourite breakfast items. The speciality of the baked beans here is that it is completely in-house , so you know it has been made with all hard work and heart. •    Cheesy Mushroom Toastie – Toasties are slowly getting to the top of the breakfast menus in the city. This one in particular blew my mind. A perfect combination of Cheese and Mushroom. •    Pork and Chicken Sausages – There are very few places in town offering pork sausages and this one just made my day! •    Masala Omelette – You should see the picture I attach along with this review. The picture says it all. I will lose on anything if the picture does not make you drool •    Pulled Chicken Toastie – I have never ever had such a creamy and soft chicken toastie. This one tops my list of recommendations. •    Bacon Strips – The name of the dish says it all. Apart from the fixed menu , we also ordered for a fresh watermelon juice and some strong coffees. The Watermelon Juice was extremely refreshing and want to know what worked the best for me? – No added sugar + No ice. Vfm – 4.5/5 Ambiance –  4.5/5 Brownie Points – Good Music

Situated in lane 7 of Koregaon Park exactly between The Earth Cafe and Mocha, the newly opened Robust is capable of giving these two a tough competition. It's a small and cozy area with two seating areas, upstairs and downstairs. It's main attraction is the beautifully lit reindeer on the wall behind the bar. The overall place is dim lit with funky picture frames on the walls. Coming to the food, we had the following items 1)Loaded Potato Poppers- These are fantastic. I have the ability to gobble up this gorgeous plate in no time. Fried balls of potato has a hint of cheese and is garnished with red bell pepper, onion and sour cream. It is absolutely delicious. 2)Paneer Tikka- Chunks of paneer marinated in curd and spices can never go wrong. The succulent pieces made it evident that paneer was marinated well with a good amount of spices. They do a good job with the plating as well. 3)Beaned Nachos- What comes to your mind when you think of Nachos? Nachos topped with lots of melted cheese right? Robust has a different take on the classic nachos. Instead of cheese, it is topped with a puree of kidney beans and a dollop of sour cream. Even though it doesn't have our beloved cheese, trust me it is superb and makes for a healthier option as well. 4) Herb Garlic Mushrooms- Even though I am not a mushroom lover, I quite enjoyed eating it because these mushrooms are tossed in plenty of burnt garlic bits, that elevates the flavor of the entire dish. 5)Alfredo Pasta- It is basically pasta in white sauce served along with two pieces of garlic bread. Too much of flour was added to the white flour making it taste dense. If the quantity of the flour is reduced, it will be just perfect. 6) Madras Curry- This curry is soothing and literally soul touching. It was creamy with subtle flavors and went very well with rice and fried chips. Definitely a must try. 8)Veg Biryani- It was topped with fried onions which added a cruncy texture to it. Although the biryani was lacking in flavors. 9) Drunken Serra Durra- Any guesses why is this dessert named Drunken Serra Durra? It is a rum infused dessert. The consistency is mousse like and topped with crumbled buscuits. It was definitely a hit. The rum flavor is quite strong, making it a must try especially the for rum lovers. 10) Sizzling Brownie- All my senses were heightened when I saw this dessert arrived on our table. The beautiful sight of the dessert sizzling and the aroma of the chocolate made me want to attack on it at once. The molten chocolate had chopped dry fruits which was unique and added a crunchy texture. They also have good breakfast options at pocket friendly rates. The liquor rates are also pretty reasonable and they have happy hours everyday. Decent food, reasonable liquor and a cozy ambience makes it worth visiting Robust. You are bound to have a good time here.
