β β β β β Great offbeat location to witness the mountain ranges, we visited during full moon day and was able to see moon rise from the mountains which was great experience. The cottages offers very good view of hills and food options are average nothing to complain. Rooms and bathrooms can be tied up a little more as scope of improvement. Accessing this place is quite tricky, we lost our way and google maps did not help us as we ended up travelling additional 30 kms to reach this place. Best way is to call the hotel folks when you reach Khalsi and they will send you directions which is the ideal way.

β β β β β The team is very helpful and even though our booking was done very late and last minute, the team arranged a room for us and even provided dinner even though it was way after the dinner time. You can also ask for a bonfire if you want!
The food is good, the ambience is very cosy and the view is breathtaking :)
All in all, if you are looking for an actual getaway from the hectic city life....I would totally recommend this place for everyone, family, friends or couples!

β β β β β Our weekend stay at the Himalayan Eco Lodge, Chakrata was a memorable one. It's a lovely location in the midst of nature, and a refreshing getaway from the noisy city life. The pristine surroundings are a treat to the eyes. The staff at the lodge are very considerate and cooperative. But, this location is better chosen only if someone wishes to just relax in the lap of nature, and not roam around the tourist spots. Firstly, because it is almost 20 kms away from the main town area from where you need to go further for sightseeing. Secondly, the approach to the cottages is a stretch of about 500 meters of really bad road (actually no road)
. Driving a car on that road is not recommended. Keep spare tyres with you. So, if one really wishes to stay there, it is better to park on the roadside and walk down to the cottages.

β β β β β If you're looking for an off beat location away from the city streets with no noise and air pollution bothering you, then this is a must visit. The view from the rooms are breathtaking and the place is extremely peaceful. The food offered here would make you feel home away from home. The staff here is very courteous and polite and would cater to all your requirements. For people who wish to enjoy the picturesque view and have me time one MUST chose this Destination.

β β β β β Place is well maintained but approach to the place is very dangerous and only experienced drivers must try to take the chance of this downhill unstable crush stone 150 Meters 2 turn decent and Good food, cottages are cozy and well maintained and Caution Γ’Ε‘Β Γ―ΒΈ Risky hill Drive to place.
