★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am been into Firearms and in shooting sports for over 25 years now and know most of the gun shop owners personally , Including Mr Mohammad Faisal , who is also the owner of Royal Bengal Arms. Mr Faisal is not only a gun enthusiastic, but also a competition shooter himself for Crossbow shooting. Here are my two cents feedback about his shop
1. Collection : Its may not the oldest shop in Kolkata , but definitely the only shop having massive collection of Shotguns, rifles, Pistol and Revolvers among all arms dealer and probably best among eastern India Zone. So you will get a huge choice of Firearms to choose for almost in every popular caliber in India like 12ga, .315 , 30.06, and .22LR in Long Arms and .22LR and .32S&W and .32ACP in Small Arms , apart from these he has other calibers too like .45ACP , .357 etc. So obviously this should be your first destination if you want to look for options.
2. Behavior : A perfect Gentleman , who is not only polite but knowledgeable and very cooperative to show you around and answer your question, Which is lacking in most of the gun shop in Kolkata. I normally don't do business , if I don't get the right treatment from owner, so for Royal Bengal Arms , Every time I visited his shop , I am been greeted with warm welcome and very friendly cordial behavior. Even Mr, Faisal always offered me tea or sweets , irrespective of if I buy anything from him or not .
I have recently purchase few box of .22LR Ammo (Federal Champ) from his store for my pistol and I must say the batch was fresh and price were extremely competitive. Performance wise I find it giving me very tight group and performing way over famous Eley Sport round.
I will recommend everyone , who is willing to purchase a licensed Firearms or Ammunition , to give a visit to his shop , you wont be disappointed for sure.
