★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I HAD a great deal of respect for Royal D'Metals and Dheeraj Gupta until we had a serious problem. They kept our deposit, refused to make good on defective product and I can only guess that when they realized how serious the problem was and what their exposure might be they no longer responded to our emails or Yahoo Messenger requests to chat.
I did business with Royal D'Metals and Dheeraj Gupta for a number of years. Our company purchased regular, barrel and double wall stainless steel mugs.
One of our biggest problems was the number of double wall mugs that arrived dented. We informed them and they didn't do anything to resolve the problem.
We had a serious problem with their powder coated mugs. Mugs that cleaned in a dishwasher came out stained. (See Photo) We sent them photos and they asked us to send them samples. We sent them the 20 samples they requested DHL Express.
When DHL and customs in India requested Royal to provide paperwork so the shipment could be cleared and delivered they refused to do so and ignored follow up requests.
I have several thousands of dollars of defective product here in the US and close to five thousand dollars in deposits for powder coated mugs held by Royal D'Metals in India.
We invoiced Royal D'Metals and asked that they return our deposits and pay for the defective product held here in the US.
We have been trying to resolve the problem for over 6 months.
Neither Royal D'Metals nor Dheeraj Gupta will respond to our emails or Yahoo Messenger requests.
I recently saw several of the powder coated mugs we had on order and paid deposits being offered for sale by a competitor. Coincidence?
