★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Things seemed to be very different when I visited this time. Everyone was very helpful and efficient. There is of course a lot they could do to automate more of the processes online, but I was surprised at how smoothly everything happened when I visited. Everyone, right from the parking attendants to the senior officers, were helpful. The mood at the RTO seems to have become a lot more pleasant overall. Glad to see this. Like some others have posted, we can indeed get work done smoothly without going through brokers. However, even after a month after I submitted my application for RC renewal, the status is still shown as "not started". So there still seems to be some kind of stagnation. If an application is pending, they should have some method of notifying the owner of the vehicle about why it is pending and by what date it will be processed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building has paid parking, but very limited slots. If you're taking your car, good luck finding a space. Bike will accommodate easily. There are a lot of small shops providing services of xerox/photocopy on the ground floor, TO MY SURPRISE none of them had an option of phone-pe/gpay !! some shops on 1st floor had these options. Also, lot of independent people around there claims to be agents/know inside people to get things done, DONT fall in their traps. there is a notice kept on the RTO floor (3rd floor) that these shops/agents are not endorsed by RTO. The RTO service as such is not organized well. I approached for an RC transfer and they couldn't find the original file. I had to file RTI and then connected with RTO itself who is a nice person and helped me get things moving from the officers point of view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly Corrupted Officials. Won't budge and will delay your work if not routed through Agents. The whole place, process is deliberately setup to confuse and irritate people,who in turn look for an agent to get work done. My bike had to be transferred to this RTO, and couldn't find a single document/page/link which shows the Charges, process. Language barrier is anyhow the biggest factor that works in favour of corrupt officials and Agents. To outsiders they charge unjustified amount. And then these People complaint when they get iLL treated in North India. Seems it's only Justified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Corrupted Govt Office, staffs not friendly, they are looting the money
Work will happen easily if you go through agents, else they will treat you like a dog.
Parking fee is one more scam, as it's a govt service they need to offer free parking or atleast charge minimal amount, but here they charge you 30/- for each entry and also officers make you to follow them at least 3 to 4 times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience is that I wanted to do transfer of RC on my own without agents. Though senior citizen I have to visit atleast 7 times. At last I got the job done with out bribe after 30 days. Few staff were helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambience need to improve. Help desk mostly vacant. Punctuality is an issue, but exit time fixed. Mostly digital but few things still need to visit RTO. Vehicle inspection Bay is half a km away, Opp to The Mysore Lamps . Keep your documents handy. U need brown color file to keep docs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very crowded, no appointments system, power is out, it’s dark and ofcourse no elevators for the aged visitors. Inefficiency at its maximum. Told driving tests start at 2 but ofcourse no inspectors here till 345. All can bend rules based on how much you pay!

Place is quite dark and lull. Beware of agents and negotiate well before executing anything.
Prefer to do printing and xeroxing outside next to complex in order to save money
