Rural India Vacations - Jaipur

We hired Balveer to drive us on a 3 day trip through Rajasthan and a neighboring state. We were a bit hesitant as we have had other drivers in India who talk too much and try to sell you things and take you to places to receive commission. Balveer was very professional, did not try to take us anywhere that we did not ask to go but had recommendations for budget friendly options when we wanted to find a restaurant, etc. We had great communication from him from the first time we spoke to him, he was always active on Whatsapp to get right back to us. He was very flexible with our schedule, waking up early to take us to the Taj Mahal at sunrise and driving us back in the evening from Ranthambore after our safari. He is prompt with arrival times and during the drive would point out different points of interest along the way. The roads in India are extremely hectic and chaotic and Balveer is an excellent driver. He’s been driving for a very long time and he knows how to navigate the crazy streets, we felt very safe even at night. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver. 5 stars and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a driver in Rajasthan! Thanks, Balveer!

Two of us travelled from Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodphur, Pushkar, Agra and then New Delhi. Balveer is very punctual and we specifically also told him no guides as we do not wish to be pushed to shop by guides who hope for commission, etc. He is mindful of our needs. We read up on most of the places we wanted to travel to and Balveer provided some dos and don'ts. But Balveer will recommend nice and reasonably priced restaurants. We get a new driver in New Delhi, Shatish, as we went on our own to Varanasi. Shatish also act as a good guide in New Delhi. Overall the quotation provided by Balveer is very reasonable. We were also invited to his house to have breakfast with his wife on our way to Udaipur. We also had fun chatting with his "Satu Kaka" (Uncle Kaka), a friend from his village, whom we hope will someday learn to speak English.

We had a fantastic time with Balveer in the Jaipur area! He made sure we hit all the major tourist spots in a logical order and made suggestions when we found extra time in our itinerary. Be sure to ask about cooking classes with his wife. Professional driver, very clean car and very flexible to meet our schedule needs. Highly recommended!

Balveer was a great driver! Always on time and email communication was quick. We spent about a week traveling from Jaipur to Agra and then Delhi. In addition to being a very safe driver (definitely the safest we had during our three weeks in India) he knew all of the sights and had good recommendations. When we arrived at a location, he explained where everything was so we didn't have to wander around trying to get our bearings. He also speaks English well. Highly recommended!

This was my third time in India, but with my family was the first. Not to jeopardize it trying to take it alone from the beginning I have booked a tour with Balveer and the driver Shankar. I do recommend if you need someone that cares about yours as you do. He is so experienced that even have the timing to alert you about a missing point of the enormous palaces and forts at his tours. We went to a fort and were alerted about missing a part of it as we’ve returned too early. Also he never skips the good places to go just to push you out. A perfect impression of India my family could get. I am now on the second part of the tour all alone but should not continue without this pit stop to thank him and Shankar

Travelling in Rajasthan would not have been the same without Balveer's expertise. A good safe driver, and great communicator speaking Hindi, Rajasthani, and English. We've had so much fun travelling with him and nothing has been a problem for him to achieve for us.

Besides being punctual, trustworthy, honest and reliable, Balveer has also showed me the local way of living. He took me to a visit to his home, has hosted me with his son and his wife, and his wife has prepared a delicious breakfast for us. We ate in a few local, authentic places, completely different than anything that is proposed to tourists. Between touristic monuments and attractions, we saw how the real life happens in rural areas of India. This is the kind of experience I was looking for in my trip to India, and Balveer has provided so much and beyond - and I highly recommend him, with all my heart.
