Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rustagi is a Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology, based in New Delhi. He has been practising as a Clinical, Non-Invasive and Invasive Cardiologist since June 1997. He has his own clinic, Rustagi Heart Centre, located in Paschim Vihar. In addition, he is also attached to Jaipur Golden Hospital, and is a visiting consultant at MGS Hospital, Park Hospital (West Delhi) and Orchid Hospital.
Dr. Rustagi is a graduate and postgraduate from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University (1987 & 1992 respectively). He further holds the postdoctoral DM (Cardiology) superspeciality degree from KGMC in Lucknow, which he obtained in 1997. He also has a diploma in tuberculosis and chest disease from VPCI, Delhi.
Dr. Rustagi has much experience and expertise in angiography, percutaneous coronary angioplasty (PTCA), renal angiography & PTRA, transradial angiography & angioplasty, permanent pacemaker implantation (single & dual chamber), AICD, BMV, IVC filter and other catheterisation procedures. He has performed well over 12,000 angiographies and around 3,800 angioplasties with stenting. He is also experienced in all non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures. Dr. Rustagi has the distinction of performing 11 angiographies and seven angioplasties in a nine-hour period on a single day. He has the record of inserting 11 stents into a patient who was refused bypass surgery.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rustagi has experience in managing the CCU and treating patients of acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction (heart attack), cardiogenic shock, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary oedema, arrhythmias, cardiac tamponade, etc. He is experienced in bedside emergency procedures such as deploying central venous lines, temporary pacing implantation, pericardiocentesis, intra aortic balloon pump implantation, etc.
Prior to his current positions, Dr. Rustagi served as Senior Interventional Cardiologist at Action Heart Institute (Balaji Hospital) from 2006-2010, and worked as Interventional Cardiologist at Saroj Hospital and Sunder Lal Jain Hospital before that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw this doctor from Google. Really pathetic doctor.i visited this doctor as I was suffering from chest swelling. As this problem doesn't come under thsi doctor, he charged us Rs 900/-, for just writing date, pulse,Bp, temperature. After this he suggested me to some other doctor. When did not give any service why the hell he charged me the money. He could have directly reffered me to the other doctor. Pls ok request u all to be careful from such cheat doctors?. Thank u?

On 21st Jan 2019 my father in law visited for regular check up as he was not feeling well. He was feeling difficult to go to the doctor’s cabin so he called the doctors in the waiting area for the check up. The doctor checked him and said the oxygen is very low. Without giving any medical attention or first aid he told us to take him to the hospital and get him admitted for 2-3 days. We took him to The Jaipur Golden Hospital to which the doctor is associated. It is around 10 mins away from the doctor’s clinic. But when we reached the hospital and the medical attendant checked my father in law, he was not breathing i.e. he was no more.
Since that day we have talked to so many doctors but no one is satisfied by the doctor’s actions in the emergency situation. Every doctor is saying that this clear case of negligence. He should have done ECG, give oxygen, give aspirin and/or any pain relief medicine.
I want your support to highlight the negligent behaviour prevalent in Indian doctors, in medical industry or so called hospitals.
Can you kindly share your experience with me
Can you suggest me what should I do?
Should I file a lawsuit for the doctor’s negligence which amounted to my father in law’s premature death.
I hope this small review can save some one’s life one day...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst doctor i have ever seen. He do experiments only, I think he dont know the c of cardiology! I go with my grandmother for a regular checkup of her. He said i do test for heart and he insert two stunts after that. After 15 min she was dead. Please dont go to this place!
