S.N College Rajkanika is Established in the year 1975 and one of the oldest college in Rajkanika Block.The Earliest King Sailendra Narayan Bhanja Dev had an idea to establish a college in his own area.Because he is well educated king and well traveller person who has traveled the total European countries .So he is the only person of this areas as a richest man and try to establish a college own point of view. King give own land for college and its playground and hostel.Till the year 1975 to earlier year 2000 the college was in well ventilated but after funding from government and some NGO college development and progress towards the new model. Before it was in thatched house. In the Year 1999 the Cyclone in Odisha fully damaged it. The disaster management recovery system funding the College was made in brick building. In the year 2015Earlier Principal of SN College Rajkanika was fully take Responsibility to develop the college and credit goes to him. The year between 2015- 2020 the Principal of the College Change the Architecture of it.New Guide line rules and regulations take a college is like an Autonomous College.. In year 2017 NAC committee Gives B++ Grade ... Which make it the Second best college in the District Kendrapara..

Here facilities are good.and the educational systems is good for students to secure good Mark in exam. The security is also good. Cctv cameras are equipped in every room. There are two water filters, urinals, common room, gym centre, conference hall etc for students..

Sailendra Narayan College came into being during 2nd October 1975.The is the Educational hub of Rajkanika which had necessitated the birth of this temple of learning. It was named after Late Raja Saheb of Kanika Sailendra Narayan Bhanja Deo, a great Leader of Orissa, in post independent India and also a great visionary, who had generously contributed towards the opening of a college in this rural area. Presently, it is imparting teaching in Arts, Science and Commerce classes in +2 and +3 level with honours in Arts, Science streams at degree level. In the field of infrastructure, the college has a very modest beginning with mud houses holding various classes. The young and enthusiastic people took a lead in the collection of donation from the local people, Ferry Ghat, Cattle market out of which the present buildings have been built. The main building that houses the entire class rooms (Academic Block) is built on the generous grant of local Kantapara Panchayat. Now this college has good campus,study room, big Library, girls hostel, and playground. Students in this college score good in their examination. The college has achieved the spectacular success in the field of sports and games in the University, state & National Level.
