★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my close relative under gone small surgery with this doctor.
Post surgery he mentioned some medicine out of which one medicine was very hard to find, so we called this doctor to suggest some other medicine..but doctor refused to give another medicine and gave us number of some dealer.
When I called that dealer he said that medicine will cost 900 per strip (10tab/strip). I asked him what this medicine is for..on which his reply was I DON'T KNOW.
I again asked doctor that medicine is very costly, so please offer another medicine on which doctor replied YOU CAN TAKE ONLY ONE MEDICINE INSTEAD OF TWO PER DAY.
I really did not understand his logic...
He also mentioned some asteroid with high dosage... Due to that asteroid my relative got swelling and face become completely red...
Finally we refered another doctor and he told that asteroid dosage is 70% higher than what should be taken...
SO I APPEAL TO EVERYONE TO BE CAREFUL WITH HIM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was born with twisted feet on 03/01/2002. My parents was advised to take me to Dr. S. P Mondal where he assured them of my full recovery. He showed my parents light to live. It took almost nine months including plaster and laser operation. Today I am a fully cured child. I am studying in class eleventh. I am ever grateful to him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nobody was able to heal my foot. But Dr. Mandal gave me the best treatment and I have become 100% fit. Since last 16 yrs I'm walking as if I have never gone through any problem in my foot. I'm soooo grateful to him. He's sooo skillful. May God bless him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience with Dr.S P Mandal.My sister's knee bone got fractured.I visited 3 orthopaedic doctors and they all suggested for surgeries but he referred only plaster.He is such a humble personality and his staff is also very supportive. The best orthopaedic doctor of Delhi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped believing in allopathy after consulting him. I doubt that this comment of mine will be made visible for people to see as it will hamper the pharma buisness. I wonder how and why was he given Padma Shri(I will never ever honour any padmashri awardee now). The guy sitting next to him,named something from letter "P",is even duffer,he would write meds according to his will and goes on to suggest things to this veteran docter as well. I went for my joint pain treatment and I was being such medicines that would kill pain as long as I was taking meds and once I skipped meds for a day or two the pain would start again on higher note than before. I was taking medicines(6-8 pills a day) but still the problem was spreading! Also ,the meds that were given to me were supposed to trigger anxiety and depression and to counteract this they prescribed anti-depressants! I have had the worst phase of my health when I came in contact with two docters-Manish Dhawan,and SP Mandal-both from GangaRamHospital. If I rate,they both collectively will score 0 out of 10(since I cant give negative score,I wish I could).Both these would prescribe meds that are not available everywhere but from specific 'dealers' only,and that too very costly.I once called this guy named Pravin(perhaps) and asked if the number of pills per day could be reduced,and I was told - "dawai wala humko paisa nahi deta hai,jitne likhe hain utna lena padega dawai,uske bina thik nahi hoga)I started doubting their illogical approach and taking their medicines ,switched to homeopathy and have been doing absolutely fine now. Its all business for docters these days,very few practice ethically. Never ever go to SP Mandal,guess his golden time is over now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Doctor. I will never recommend this doctor to anyone. My father had Back ache problem so we went to Dr. SP Mandal for consultation but without doing blood tests or other test he said he is having Parkinson and gave medicine to my father. The medicine reacted badly and my father lost his mind balance and could not sleep for 72 hours and started speaking 20 years old things. The we called Dr. SP Mandal on mobile he said to stop the medicine and take him to nearest hospital. Then I took my father to Max hospital to Neurologist where the doctor gave sleeping pills so that the medicine reaction can be minimized. Max doctor was also surprised why Dr. SP Mandal gave Parkinson medicine without any preliminary test. It took 3 weeks for my father to become bit stable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Mandal is an amazing doctor, very senior. He is quiet old now, but has a good team who works under his supervision.
I had a complicated case of fracture in my foot, had fracture on both side of the ankle on my right foot. Another good doctor had recommended a surgery, which is when i went to Dr Mandal who is renowned in Ortho.
It took 3 months but he helped me back on my foot without a surgery. He gave me both positivity and a good treatment.
