It was earlier governed by M.P board of technical education under MP state government.
It is now declared as an autonomous body.
The college offers full time and part-time Diploma courses mostly in Engineering like Electronics and communications,
Electrical Engineering,
Computer Engineering,
Civil,Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation,Information technology ,
and in some non Engineering courses like communications skills,
pharnacy and
videography etc.
The college was established in 1953,since then it has produced numerous technical and skillful persons who are now serving in various govt.and private organizations.
The college campus is spread in about 2 acres of land with ample space for theory classrooms and well equipped laboratories.
Location near new market is also good for local and outside students.
The faculties have always been upto the mark .
