★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the dhabas in JNU. Here u can have boiled eggs, chai, samoshas, pakodaas, jalebi and one more sweetdish. Chai is served here @ 5 rs. There is badminton court besides it. Enough space for sitting people and can enjoy your refreshments. This dhaba is place of political debate and discussion also. In the same badminton court, scholars like Chidambaram, Sashi Tharoor are invited for giving lectures. In the front their is a small cricket ground. Many marches during strikes and all start from here itself. Their is a hostel besides this.There are two wings in this hostel that is boys wing and girls wing. Girls can go to boys wing but after doing entry in the visitors register. At 50 meter distance there are several places to eat. Chinees corner is there and another regular dhaba is there. It serves soop, chicken items as well. Room in this hostel are given on twin basis. Rooms are quite large as compared to other hostels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prominent hang out place for JNU students, Take someone with you and sit on the rocks with tea and Pakoda to have have some quality time and discuss contemporary intellectual issues. Sabarmati and Tapti Hostel is near to this place. Went there after almost three years after I left JNU and moved to Hyderabad for work.
