★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The park and the nearby river bed is very nice place to be, especially during the winters, when the water has receeded a lot. Good picnic spot and also a nice spot for photoshoots. It appears like you are at a beach. Be careful of the water depth, at places it is quite deep due to the sand mining being done. Do not take unnecessary risks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice public place for a few hour's outing, located just below the Sadarghat Bridge on the eastern bank of Damodar river. There are some moving-cart food shops and toy shops too during the afternoon time so that tourists feel this place more attractive. But the local administration should be careful about the following factors. 1. There should be a proper staircase to descend toward the river. The present uneven boulder can cause accident any time. 2. The local youths frequently use this spot as drug/liquor addiction after darkness. This has to be handled by police. 3. Many young couples go there and stay beyond evening time, which might bring any unwanted incidence. Police should stop this too. 4. Proper beautification is needed for this place.
