Sagar was established during 1936 by S. Atma Singh Sagar, father of S. Amarjeet Singh Sagar in Lahore and it was re-established during 1950, in ludhiana for the manufacturing of Planer and Plano Milling Machines. At Present S. Amarjeet Singh Sagar has been looking after as a Managing Director of Sagar Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd.
