★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know Narasimhaiah and Lakshmi Madam personally. Seen their activities . Very dedicated , sacrificing People. They run 3 hostels for blind Girl child in Bangalore , Mysore and Dharwad. They really struggle to raise funds. Request corporate houses to help them with their CSR fund .. I assure you , it will be more satisfying than any other charitable work one intends to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a NGO which is striving to empower the visually challenged individuals to be self sufficient. I visit this place every time I come to India and I am amazed by how a management consisting of blinds can run such efficiently. If you are considering to donate to this NGO, some of the projects they are currently catering and working in are brail transcription unit, free hostel for economically backward visually challenged women, free library with a huge collection of literary work. They also counsel partially blind or individuals who turned blind by accident or some congenital disease. Furthermore, this organization also conducts various training camps and workshops to visually challenged and physically challenged people in their effort to find a stable job or to pursue self-employement.
