You will get good discount on large quantity.
Market remains closed on 1st day of every month, though you can get the items on the main road outside the sabzi mandi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this place first, in search of gardening material. The second largest wholesale vegetable market after Azadpur sabji mandi. To buy fresh fruit and vegetables, one have to visit here early morning and try to check rates with sellers as much as possible to get best deal. I bought some gardening products from and it's really cheap compare to other available option on nursery and gardening shop.
Only area where I feel sorry about this is cleanliness, authorities and local should look into this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a wholesale market for fruits and vegetables. In morning one can buy foods and vegetables in retail also.
You'll can buy good quality fruits n vegetables in cheap rates as compared to the market.
There is a small market for grocery , paneer, mutter (green peas frozen), chaap.
You'll not find the place clean, and in rainy season it's horrible, however now the government has made a cemented road. So hope. there will be no problem in rainy season also.
