β β β β β Misal Pav - a speciality from Maharashtra, India constituting of Misal ( spicy curry ) & Pav . The curry is made from mixed sprouts and lentils that are rich in proteins. Itβs topped with 'Farsan', sev, onions and coriander. Traditional households and restaurants often serve it alongside a glass of 'Chaas' (buttermilk). The spicy flavour of this dish fits well with the typical Indian Taste Buds.
The one you get at Sahyadri is typical Kolhapuri misal where the basic flavor are perfect on point and they use sprouts Broth as base. They give you separate ΰ€ΰ€ (curry) and tarri with the basic misal, as well as garlic chutney which is a must have. Do try it and don't forget to add the ΰ€ΰ€ (curry) and tarri because it's the real game changer.
Do try misal shots or golgappa misal and smoky misal.

β β β β β Average Misal with bit different taste than usual Misals in town.
Sitting arrangement is compact but clean and good.
We tasted Smoky, Brown Bread and Normal Misal.
Barbeque esque Smoky misal was Ok ok with different taste.
They serve Gaathi sev with misal plate which is unusual combination.
Improvements Needed -
Sample/Cut which is heart of any misal can be better with little spice and more matki in it.
It would be nice if extra ordered bread had been Roasted more properly.

β β β β β This place is. Aone stop spot for all the misal lovers. A small place which serves amazing varieties of Misal.
Smokey Misal
A nice smokey flavor makes the misal one of it's kind. A must try.
Kaju Misal
This is a Misal wgich has kaju in it for reals. This also was amazing.
Cheese Misal
A perfect blend of the Western flavor with the cheese and the Maharashtrian tarri misal. A combination that you can give a try.
Misal Shots
These are just like Pani Puri, a must have at this place.

β β β β β Sunday being a Misal day we had to explore this cool place at Kothrud. The most tempting option there was the smoked Misal. Trust me it has a burnt taste in it and is served with a small glass of buttermilk, salad & papdi. Loved the presentation. Hygiene here is well maintained. Apart from this thereβs option of the normal Misal. Would like to mention here that the Misal is served without TARRI and itβs given separately. Trust me you need to have a little of it and the oomph factor shall become 10x. On and all a superb place to be.

β β β β β Heard alot about this place and finally got chance to visit.
Sahyadri Misal is small misal joint providing you with different and unique misal.
Ambience includes tables and chairs, it is open and is pretty much crowded.
Presentation of every misal is amazing and looks drooling.
1)Smoky Misal
Presentation as said was awesome. It included a matka which had usal, farsan and a coal with lid covered. As soon as you open the lid of the matka smoke pops out.
Coming to taste it didnt go well with me.
I only felt the smoke and no flavours or taste.
Others loved but it didn't go with my taste.
2)Cheese Misal
Again even this didnt go well with me.
It had cheese grated in the bowl of misal.
They provide separate tarri and spicy tari along with it .
3)Kaju Misal
Misal must have a punch of flavours but I don't know why all the misals seem bland to me.
Meanwhile others were kinda liking it?ββοΈ
4)Misal Shots
Loved this.
It was basically Misal Tari served with sprouts and Puri.
You should definitely give it a try here.

If you ever get any chance to visit Maharashtra, the one of the few exquisite delights you should try is Misal. Especially, in Pune, you will get Misal any many places. Sahyadri Misal is one of the newer ones; but it makes its marks by serving its authentic misal. They serve a special misal called βsmoky misalβ. It is served in a clay pot with hot coal to give a smoky feel as the name suggests. The misal is right amount of spicy and if you want it to be more spicy, you can add βtariβ. Also, buttermilk is served with it and peanuts and jaggary. The overall dish feels a rural authentic vibe which is different from other places. Definitely, a smoky experience to have. Hope the video gives the smoky vibe as well! ?

β β β β β After trying at so many outlets, My hunt is over here. Sahyadri Misal has the best misal in the town. Authentic taste with kadak Tarri and spicy rassa. Budget friendly. Dont havev indoor seating so one has to occupy table outside. Highly recommend. 5 raters !!

β β β β β The taste of Misal is not exceptional as such but it's good. I liked one thing, the pav which they serve is roasted so its crispy and tastes good. There are many types of Misal such as Smokey, Dahi, Cheese, Paneer. I prefer the original one though. Apart from food Cleanliness is maintained but the staff didn't wear a mask.
