★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was admitted on 6th April in this hospital (Private AC Room) for my Hernia surgery. The treating doctor Dr. SP Singh has done a very good job and a perfect surgery. The treatment was handled very nicely & he has explained the procedure very nicely.
However, a shocking experience which I had undergone as follows:-
After the surgery was over, while I was lying in recovery room inside the OT complex, nursing assistants/ward boys/girls (total four - 2 boys & 2 girls) came to shift me to my cabin bed. They brought the cabin bed beside me while I was lying on the OT bed and horrifically they asked me to shift from one bed to another by myself, while they were holding saline bottle & catheter bag in their hand!!! No one has lend their hands to assist or help me to shift while I was still in a drowsy state due to impact of anaesthesia!
This was the most horrifying experience in my life as I have undergone 7 surgeries so far in different hospitals & very much aware about the level of care are being taken specially for post OP patients! In this hospital it seems to be lacking. Apart from above mentioned experience, following issues were also faced by me:
1. Inexperienced staff in casualty department as they even can't insert needle properly to creat channels for medicine/saline
2. Even after complaints regarding bruise marks on my hand or numbness due to incorrect piercing of needle for channel, it was not taken care
3. Food is anorher worst part of my 5 day stay in this hospital!!! Foods were totally tasteless & not worth against such high rent of private cabin
However, I don't have any complaints about my doc or nurses in the private room console.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today we were invited for Baby shower cake cutting, games, gifts session by expert doctors. The program was quite knowledge rich and helped us understand pregnancy related facts in a better way. Sessions by physiotherapist, lactation expert, Dietician were awesome.
The Cordlife team was nice and they provided gifts and prizes.
Overall a great event by Cordlife and Sahyadri.
