The advent of modernization, industrialization, urbanization, occupational differentiation, education, and growth of individual philosophy has eroded the traditional values that vested authority with elderly.Elder abuse involves a violation of the fundamental human right to safety and can include neglect, physical abuse, psychological or emotional abuse, sexual abuse, and financial abuse. With an aging world population, the incidence of elder abuse is likely to increase dramatically.
SAI SAHARA Old age home was set up in the year 2005 with the aim of providing home comforts and peace of mind to seniors seeking peace and calm. It is to be run as a nonprofit institution by the SAI SAHARA for Promotion of Indian Heritage, a social service organization to provide shelter to people of advanced years who feel stressed out by the daily hassles and troubles of life. The aim is to make them feel they are truly at HOME though in a different residence.
Their stay at SAI SAHARA Old age home will free them from various worries and pressures and find them a new life with all the basic comforts and care essential for them. They will never feel that SAI SAHARA Old age home is a punishment transfer of residence because they have been rejected by society.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this old age home many times now. Sai sahara family and its care taking staff is an absolute delight to interact with.
Whenever I go here, I try my best to contribute because it gives me satisfaction seeing that my contribution is actually been put to good use.
I find all Dadas and Dadis here always happy and cheerful, even in better health. The Chairperson of the NGO, Dr. Rajeshwari Mishra is a very kind hearted and nobel personality. By taking to her I have realised how important it is to serve those who are in need.
I highly recommend this HOME AWAY FROM HOME if you are looking for a safe haven for your parents/grandparents.
