★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The speciality of this small tea house is it's "Tandoori Chai", a sweetish decoction that obtains it's name and a delicate flavour from the "kulhad" (clay cup) which roasts away in a coal-fired tandoor, and into which the tea is first poured before being transferred to the final kulhad that is handed over to you. There are a few snacks on offer that go well with the tea, such as Bun Maska (buttered bun), Samosas, and Misal Pav. There are a few chairs for seating, and a longish bar table with plastic stools as seats. Most certainly recommended that you try this experience at least once, and you will certainly return for that subtle flavour and taste that skews the usual masala chai. Pro Tip: Take along some tissue paper, not just because the kulhad might heat up from the tea, but also because if you are like me, there's always going to be some messy seepage outside the cup, and the tissue saves your fingers from getting wet!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am sure after drinking one cup of Tandoori chai you will surely feel it’s a scam. I visited this place recently with a friend. It's nothing different, just chai served in an earthen pot (kulhad) and that cup is heated in a Tandoor. The chai was prepared in a regular saucepan and dipped in the hot earthen cup several times to infuse the tandoori flavor. Some people do find it different but I didn’t find much difference. They have some tables laid for you to sit. Nothing like an amazing ambiance. The price is cost-effective. Overall, go there with zero expectations and enjoy your chai in kulhad.
