It's a temple and is located at a very good location which is nearby the Criper Road . It can be seen clearly even in heavy traffic . Very well maintained this old temple is very much connected with the rich culture and customs of the place . One can find immense peace here . There are two grounds along the temple where children play various games and also practice Karate here. People from distant places come here mainly at the time of Kali Pujo to worship .This is what the temple is famous for .

It is a great place. The place is too much devotional. Everybody knows this place a lot well. It is a great landmark to all the people who live in Konnagar. A massive crowd gathers around the temple during the festivals. The people nearby are great. The management is very good. Some grounds are nearby. Boys play football there.

This shrine is one of the most famous KALI Temples in the district of Hooghly, just five to seven minutes walk from Konnagar station. The main PUJA is held in April every year and a large fair is organised on this occasion.People from all parts of West Bengal pour in to offer their Puja and they believe that the mother goddess always listens to their Prayer and blesses them. This Puja is also famous for a huge number of goat sacrifices on the day of main Puja.Sometimes the number crosses one thousand. FOR DEVOTEES OR PILGRIMS: Throughout the year one can offer Puja in the temple.Every Tuesday and Saturday you can offer Puja in the morning and evening taking help from priests of the temple. No,there is no nuisance of Pandas.
