2. No biryani flavour was detected . Not a hint
3. chicken chap was super salty which overpowered any leftover flavour that they might have put in.
4. to keep an open mind, i think the huge demand of 15 th august interfered with the standards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a foodie I love trying out different restaurants for different cuisines be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. In the Mughlai cuisines by favourite is Mutton Biryani from Sama Biriyani House in Konnagar.
Distance approx 2mins from Konnagar railway station.
Speaking of the rice that you get in the Biryani - it is completely soaked in flavour; its soooooo soft and the mutton just slips off even when you are eating just with your spoon; so well cooked. Though compared to many renowned older Biryani serving Mughlai restaurants in short span on time Sama Biriyani House had earned a very good reputation.
5 out of 5 from me.
