This is a Hindu temple located in the same "Vijay Stambha complex" on the northern bank of Gaumukh Kund reservoir and dedicated to Lord Shiva.Evidence suggests this temple was constructed in the 11th century and restored during the 13th and 15th centuries. Temple ruins destroyed by invaders can be seen on the ground in front of the temple. An ancient Hindu Temple where you can see three faces of Lord Shiva, Vishnu and Brahmha depicting Truth (Satya), Splendor (Royalty) and Anger (Krodh / Tam). Regular Aarti and prayers are conducted at this Temple by the Priest. Photography is allowed. The surroundings of the Temple have several artifacts which have been gathered from ruins are being preserved for restoration. There is a very old electro-mechanical devise inside this temple which produces background instrumental music during Aarti. It was fascinating to watch it in working condition.

The Samadhishvara Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The name of the temple comes from Samadhishvara, which means "Lord of Samadhi". That being another name for Shiva. The temple design is a mixed bag of different styles, which is unsurprising since this has been an active temple since the 11th century. The exterior of the temple has a very distinct bands of relief on different levels. The lower levels contains half relief sculptures of elephants, followed by relief of cavalry, then dancing sati and civic processions, as move you move up the levels. The roof of the temple is a conical pyramid, with many smaller conical pyramids surround the main one, that gives the impression of a single pyramid when far off enough. An interesting mix of architectural styles.

Dedicated to Siva, this temple was built by Bhoja Paramara in the middle of the 11th century AD. It was renovated by Mokal, in VS 1485 (AD 1428). It consists of a garbhagriha, an antarala and a mandapa with three porticos on its north, south and west. The colossal image of Trimurti Siva is enshrined in the sanctum. The interior and exterior of the temple is elaborately carved with figures of gods and goddesses and other decorations. Besides, there are several smaller shrines of early date. To the south of it, a long staircase descends to the sacred Gaumukha.

"Some ruins of ancient times a much more beautiful than the building of modern era".. Exploring Chittorgarh fort... The Samadishwara temple is one of the most unique and beautiful temples.... Samadhisvara Temple is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva originally built BhojaParmara in early 11th century AD but later on renovated by Mokalin 1428. The Samadhishvara is a temple dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva who is the destroyer aspect of the Hindu trinity of Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple has a massive three-headed Shiva idol. This idol rises from the ground and almost covers the entire wall..... It may be noted that this Trimurti idol showcases three different demeanors of Shiva and is not to be confused with the Trimurti of Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara...... The third eye of Shiva can be seen on all three heads. The face on the left has a fierce expression and is believed to portray the fearful Aghora aspect of Shiva. The central face seems to have an expression of sardonic humor while the face on the left is composed and has an aura of serenity. Six hands can be seen, one of the hands is raised in Sarpa Mudra, while the other hands hold different items associated with Shiva symbology that includes the Rudraksha, and the Matulunga fruit.... Apart from the grandiose image of lord Shivaenshrined in the heart of the temple, it also consists of garbhagriha, an antarala and a gudha-mandapa with mukhmandapa (entrance porch) on all the three faces, i.e., northern, western and southern sides....
