★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya (IAST: Sampūrnānand Samskrit Vișvavidyālaya, Vāraṇāsī) is an Indian institution of higher learning located in VaranasiIn 1791, during the rule by the East India Company, a resident of the company, Jonathan Duncan, proposed the establishment of a Sanskrit college for the development and preservation of Sanskrit Vangmaya (grammar) to demonstrate British support for Indian education. The initiative was sanctioned by governor general Lord Cornwallis. The first teacher of the institution was Pandit Kashinath and the governor general sanctioned a budget of Rs. 20,000 per annum. The first principal of Government Sanskrit College was John Muir, followed by James R. Ballantyne, Ralph T. H. Griffith, George Thibaut, Arthur Venis, Sir Ganganath Jha and Gopinath Kaviraj.[1]

This institute are many no. Of plant and also climate are good . There are also contribute in environment by the plant. I am go in the institute of the in morning time . Many no. People come in the field and doing exercise .???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needs to be clean and more organised the guards who are at the entrance of the gates does not gives permit to go inside of that campus for kids and teenagers but they always aloe others specially foreigners to come inside the campus, even though the authority of Sampurnand gives a very bad impression because of there behaviour with outsiders who comes to play in the ground or to visit University. There is a temple inside of University campus which should be visited by locals. Just campus needs to be maintained by it's authority and guards instead of scolding the ones who are coming there to play or to travel there and they also should not do discrimination between the people who are arriving in there campus
