★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SIMS is a top institute for Maritime studies in Pune. The infrastructure of samundra institute was awesome. Inside the campus their was a well maintained ship in campus with free fall life boat training, well machined workshop powered by solar energy, best class rooms with AC, a good canteen, hostel etc. This is an eco-friendly campus. Best quality faculty. The lab facilities are best here.

These people should realize what the children go through wen they c their friends and others moving ahead in their career n these r waiting for months n most a year n a half to get a ship wen will the training period complete if its like this n wen will they settle down. And admission r going on every year wen the previous students still didn't get a ship.please try to understand the plight of them

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place for admission for DNS course. They have a very long waiting period, minimum 1.5 to 2 years now because of pandemic. They don't care if cadets are being placed on board. All they want is to earn money. They are taking batches of 80 and 120 cadets every 6 months, and the ships they have are only 150. It takes 5+ years to complete cadetship in this company, whereas it takes only 2 years in other companies.
Worst college and worst company, that is ESM.
Infrastructure is just for show. Infrastructure won't help you get placed on board.
There are plenty other inside problems with this college and company
Better quit merchantnavy as a career than taking admission in SIMS.

Awesome campus, clean and well maintained. It has very large solar panel which is one of the largest panels in Asia.
