★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been a customer at Sands Inc. since the last couple of years, primarily for badminton racquet restringing. The quality of the work done has been acceptable so far, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Despite that, have always gone to them for restringing and purchasing racquets. That being said, this is the last time I will be giving my racquets at Sands Inc.
When the racquet was restrung, the first game I played led to a loosening of the strings and with every subsequent shot a gap appeared between two adjacent strings that had to be fixed by hand. After 3 games, I had to resort to using another racquet.
Keep in mind that I have got strings changed on multiple racquets about 20-25 times from here, over the course of 2 years. This is the first time I went with a complaint and the solution offered had as many gaps as the restrung racquet. They said that the string is tight, but yes it is loose from the centre. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M SAYING!!!! Then they blamed it on the string I was using (bought from them itself) stating it's a problem with the string (BG 70). Been using this and Li-Ning 7 since a year now and have never run into any issue. Sadly, no solution was given and the only response was "deal with it, or get it done at our Galleria branch". Why would I go back to them and drive miles out of my way to get the same thing done at their branch after the pathetic customer service offered?
What these shops fail to realise is that they need to offer a personal touch to retain customers since there are so many options available (online and offline). The personal touch was completely missing, despite the person at the counter and the person restringing the racquet recognizing me and acknowledging that I've never come with a complaint in 2 years.
Losing one customer might not make too much of a difference to them, but I'm not willing to spend a penny at a place where, after going to them for 2 years, I'm essentially told to go f*$& myself. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sands is my go to shop when I think of Sports. Managed by the Verma family offers everything from Yoga plus Gyming necessities to most popular conventional Indian sports, making it a perfect stop for Gurgaon-ites, located in Galleria Market it is the only shop of its kind.
As such, this shop has all you can ask for and more no matter what is your sports pursuit you intend to take up, which is why it’s one of the best sports shops in Gurgaon and my favorite too.
They have a really hospitable and courteous staff. I have only seen them live upto their reputation since my first visit as I have been frequenting them since the last 14 years. They promise and deliver only the best quality original products
