The Lord Siva (Siva lingam) was installed many thousands of years ago by the great Saint Rishi Atti maha muni. There is another small Hanuman temple and a Go sela (Cow house) in the same premises. Maintenance is also good and disciplined. The Temple premises well surrounded with greenery with Lemon and Banana fields. A good agricultural water canal in front of the Temple is a special tourist attraction.

If you go in the evenings @ 4pm you can see the enthusiastic young swimmers who are training meticulously and we can spend the best evenings in tenali here. Happy swimmers ? paradise. But the stream is very fast here .dont dare to swim with out proper training
