What is the role of a lawyer or Advocate?
I have a deep understanding of what a lawyer means and what is he known for. Although many people have a misconception that advocates are meant to rule the law, but that is not true and have completely no base for this particular statement. Everyone is governed by a certain kind of law, in fact instead of using everyone, we must use everything. Every thing in this universe is governed by law of some kind. We, humans are also bound with different laws which vary country to country. As we all know that Indian constitution is the largest constitution that was ever written on earth and was written by Dr. B.R Ambedkar, it needs a very deep understanding of the complex nature of the constitution itself.
We cannot say that one who has complete understanding of the law will always be the winner of the case. It takes a lot of study of case and timing of the arguments is all that matters. A good lawyer must know “when to argue” and “what to argue about”, these two things can take the case much into our favour. So one must keep his eyes and ears open and become a silent spectator until the right time comes.
