My 3 cameras were not in working condition, 2 old film cameras and 1 canon g12 powershot. Long ago I have shown these film cameras in Chandni Chowk camera market but didn’t get any positive response on repair. Canon g12 powershot was deposited at Canon service centre in Connaught place in 2016 but they failed to repair it. During a ride to sand-dunes my camera’s in-built zoom lens was stuck which they release but service engineer also told me that camera is not functional yet and can’t be repaired and even if they think to repair, it may cost 10-12 thousands to change the entire unit and since 2016 it was just sleeping in my almirah. Later I did show it to couple of people outside service centre but everyone told me that such powershot cameras can’t be repaired. I never threw it away as personally I like the model and I took a chance to show it to Kapil ji as well recently after hearing good things about him. I myself found Kapil ji really good at his work and he owns sharp technical knowledge. He was quick and having such finesse in his hands. He tried to repair all 3 cameras then and there, though I had to leave two film cameras with him as it needed more time to repair but to my wonder he quickly helped me to recover canon g12 after 4 years and he quoted his service fee reasonably. A small shop, easily to be missed out while walking on the road but the person behind it is really skillful and soft-spoken.
