SANJHA CHULHA DHABA, started its operation on 10th October '2002 on the auspicious day of panchami during Nawratri. Since last 15 plus years we are mesmerizing "The City of Joy" with our succulent, mouthwatering kebabs, tandoori chicken, biriyani and other dishes. Authentic North Indian Cuisine Restaurant. The last decade witnessed and was mesmerised by our mouthwatering dishes. Till now we stand as the sultans of Indian and Mughlai dishes. We are proud to say that we gave "The City Of Joy", a real taste of "Punjabi Khana".
A beautiful Punjabi tradition, SANJHA CHULHA restaurant originated in Punjab province (Pakistan part of Punjab) of then undivided India . During those days women of different communities in rural Punjab used to cook food at home but rotis were cooked in a common oven which gave this tradition its name, "SANJHA CHULHA".

First of all, The lady who answer the phone call’s she is so rude doesn’t know how to talk to customer and no customer service knowledge at all.
And the food,I have ordered from Zomato and the food I received the curry’s was smelling sour and texture of the curry was not as usual I mean you can tell that curry’s has been prepared like I don’t know how many days ago and this kind of food can really cause serious trouble like upset stomach,Food poisoning etc. So, i would highly recommend don’t order from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good, one must try chicken masala, dal makhani and karhai paneer. The simple yet good taste of food makes this place a worthy of atleast one visit. Even the prices in which they sell their food are worth. The absence of any theme in the restaurant may bluff a person about their food quality but it is not so. One must visit this place if one wants to eat main course at reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was a gem when it was handled by the current owner's father. The current owner (a lady) is the rudest you'll find in service industry atleast in Jalandhar. I seriously dont know how this restaurant is even operating in the times of increasing customer awareness regarding the treatment the customers get.
This place was mainly known for their chicken dishes but now that too has gone down the pothole.
I am sorry for such harsh comments but trust me there are a million better options in even a small city like Jalandhar.
I believe if you are paying money for having a service, the least you could expect is some courtesy and dignity which this place lacks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered half butter chicken and butter naan. The quantity of butter chicken was pathetic. It was hardly a small katori full. And butter naans had almost no butter on it. You have lost the quality and name you had 15 years back!
