Established in 1976, Sanjivini is a registered non-profit voluntary organization that has been addressing the mental health needs of the community for over four decades.
About Sanjivini Society For Mental Health
This so moved the Reverend Chad Varah that he realized there must be more people like her - people in pain, wanting to be heard, wanting to not feel so alone.
So with a small advertisement in the newspaper, he invited people in his parish to come and talk to him. Many people responded and to help out, many parishioners volunteered. The presence of these volunteers, their patient ear and friendship, helped so many people waiting, that the lines in Reverend's office grew shorter. Thus began a worldwide network of the Samaritans.

I was dealing with several problems and I was confused, angry, unsettled, depressed, felt neglected and not sure of my own requirements in life. I visited there only for a few months before I left New Delhi and abruptly ended the counseling. I sincerely apologise to the members & Kizie. But her counselling really helped me to regain confidence, go deep down my actual problems and seek an answer. Now I am able to take care of myself in a better way and live a happy life. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service poor therapy!!!! There is a longgggggg waiting list I have to waited for 3 months. Then finally finally my turn came for the session. I thought they gave so much time to a single patient to treat them well. So I thought it's fine to wait so long. Then my first session started the therapist was extremely boring and made my mood damnn sad. My head was aching badly I took a deep breathe then I thought it's ok this is just first session and 2nd session would be better. After 2 weeks another session started that lady therapist was rude soooo much rude she was blaming me that why do you think like this and instead of understanding me she made me feel more depressed. I quit the session in between and said don't want to continue anymore. So guys plz don't waste your time here if you want free counselling then uh can try in govt hospital, that would be much better than this

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't be here or typing this if it weren't for Sanjivini and their extremely brilliant counsellor who helped me. I only know her first name, Kalpana, and she helped me so so so much. Her energy, her talking, everything made me feel at peace and safe. The rooms where they have the sessions are also really calming, despite the hustle ans bustle around. Unfortunately, I ghosted my wonderful counsellor because I couldn't keep up with the sessions (only once a week) and that is completely on me. I hope where ever Kalpana is, she is doing great and is happy. I am here, 3 years later, only because of her.
