Established in 1976, Sanjivini is a registered non-profit voluntary organization that has been addressing the mental health needs of the community for over four decades.
About Sanjivini Society For Mental Health
This so moved the Reverend Chad Varah that he realized there must be more people like her - people in pain, wanting to be heard, wanting to not feel so alone.
So with a small advertisement in the newspaper, he invited people in his parish to come and talk to him. Many people responded and to help out, many parishioners volunteered. The presence of these volunteers, their patient ear and friendship, helped so many people waiting, that the lines in Reverend's office grew shorter. Thus began a worldwide network of the Samaritans.

I consulted them regarding a friend who was going through TOUGH times. They assigned him a counsellor, who helped him.
I too went there, and they reccomended me to a psychiatrist based on the problems I told them. Also rang me back for counselling services.
Do go to them if you are having any problem. Never loose hope irrespective of what happens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people on call talks in very very rude manner. Sanjivini is supposed to be a hospital for people who are mentally weak , unwell or disturbed , keeping this in view they should have basic sensitivity toward their patient which is not there. My friend tried to call and confirm for alternative time since she couldn't make it to the clinic on time, the person talked in rough and harsh tone to my friend and made her all the more anxious and distressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SUGGESTION ** There is a lack of councellors at your centre whom i could consult for counselling. Today i came to your centre on 1st november but there wasn't any help available. I would just say that anyone who comes to u comes with an intent to solve our problems, patients reached your door when there is no way left for them. But if you keep a person waiting for 30 days because of huge appointments , such a person remains aimless in life for that time. However your receptionist is well behaved and helping. well, i took my first weed today, thanks for it

they dont charge you a penny, its totally charitable.
in sanjeevani i met few best therapist, they are very good in there skills,
eavan i have took few paid therapy somewhere else but as per my experience Sanjeevani and its therapist are best in town.
