Always find myself drawn to Santla Devi Mata mandir and give me immense peace and calmness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temple, the view and the way to the temple is beautiful, a river flows enroute.. the climb to the temple js about 2km on a cemented road.. it's a steep climb up can take upto 40-50 min to climb.
The view is worth climbing.. the temple closes at 6 so better reach 2 hours early if u want to visit the temple and catch the sunset

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The temple is literally unregulated on Sundays the over crowdedness is not a good option to go for until or unless you have some kind of family history of worshipping here(pitra devta). The crowd sometimes moves outside lines and is way intolerable( forget about covid here..). Other days might be more quiet but I am solely giving the review on basis of my experience.
They still continue the practice of sacrificing animals even after court banning it.
Saw people carrying dozens of chickens to the temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the scenic view from the top... It's a 30-40 mins trek to the top of the hill but it is worthy to take that for the view... Would suggest you to carry a small backpack with water bottle ... And travel by own vehicle if travelling at Evening as public buses have limited accessibility
