★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frequent bus for all routes .. though no proper bus stand.. water lock in bus stand evn if very less rain.. dangerous to walk under subway at d tym of rainy season.. stand is a bit nasty.. food stall, resturent available..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor traffic people. Daily making jam to go to kolkata. Very poor planing of traffic signals. Getting 30 minutes to reach santragachi station. Which is 3 minute's distance. Office goers are suffering daily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully built. Government is planning to make this terminus as the gateway to Kolkata. Routes from Babughat bus stand will be entirely shifted here. Moreover, Santragachi will be the terminal station for South Eastern railway in near future. These will make this bus terminus as one of the busiest near Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apart from Bus terminus it also host driving test ground(Those how applies for licence of 2/4 wheelers) and also inspection area for RTO ( New vehical/ Old vehical registration/ Transfer). Many driving school trainners are avaialble since 9 am and for registration related issues reach before 10 am.
RTO generally starts with inspecting driving test and then commence the Vehical inspection, so timing may vary accordingly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Bus terminus has been designed and constructed such that it is the biggest bus terminus around Kolkata. Plan was that to relieve the central bus terminus of esplanade kolkata, however it is still to be implemented. Presently it is used for parking buses that moves to and fro from Santragachi. Additionally it is also used by the Howrah Santragachi RTO as their inspection ground for trial run of driving license. At times it is used for hosting bike rally.
