About Us
The school was opened in 1988-89 in a rented building in village Anji (Vikasnagar) by Himachla Shiksha Samiti. In 1992, the land for the construction of school was bought and in 1993 the construction was started.
Earlier the school was affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Dharamshala and after 2003 it has been affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (C B S E)
The school has 66 spacious rooms which accommodates all classes from Nursery to 10+2. So there is fully developed laboratories, smart class, library and a reading room. The school also has a huge computer room and staff room for teachers. As per the guidelines of CBSE the classes of 10+2 (Science Stream) are equipped with 4 laboratories each one for Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The school ensures effective teaching through innovative methods A.V. and I.T. aids such as L.C.D. projector, Smart Class etc. and taps and develops talents through various co-curricular activities. The principal believes that activities are very important for us. They convey creativity, enjoyment, excitement and learning. There is a holistic feel about it. The school is broad based with all modern facilities Driven by success the school has gained momentum and the Principal is confident that the school will witness accelerated progress & achieve greater heights in future.
