★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If want to buy mangoes in bulk it's a nice option, however you should know whom to buy from otherwise the retail vendors sitting outside shops may loot and cheat you with rotten mangoes and higher prices. The folklore in Valsad says that the best time to visit this place during mango-season is early mornings when the farmers come for selling the mangoes to the whole sellers, however I visited twice but no body gives a damn, if you want to buy one or two boxes.

There is so many tredars at sardar fruit market who buys chiku and mangos.. some of them are cheater who cheat at the time weighting a fruit, but some of them are honest.

Mango and chiku come from all small villages of near Valsad.
Mango's available here by directly farmers on mid of the night after 1:30 AM. If you want 40-50kg mango than go to mid night you got definitely mango at low price.
