Sarojini Nagar Market is one if the most popular markets of Delhi where one can get everything at most competitive rates. Most of the market is operating on the road. It has got Babu Market, MINI Market, Export Line etc all which remain always crowded. Readymade Dresses are available at through-away prices which is unbelievable. In Babu Market, one can get school uniforms of any school in and around Delhi. One can see number of tailors ready with machines on corridors. Heart of the market is export line which is having hundreds of small shops dumped with so called export (rejected?) items. Fancy boots, goggles, jeans, shirts, coats, sweaters, overcoats etc everything is available here at most reasonable rates, bargain, if you can. Number of eating jaunts where one can get one item at Rs. 50/- per plate. This MARKET is meant for middle and lower middle class but one can see people from high and rich class here bargaining.

You can bargain by a good margin and they agree with your price maximum times. You need to be careful of defective products as there are clothes which are used or torn. Suggestion: Go shopping in the morning as this market takes alot of time and you can clearly see the faulty clothes.

So, do not expect extraordinary things or original branded products at such low prices. Very good option if you want to buy jewelleries, accessories, dupattas, pajamas, t-shirts, home decor items, footwears, daily wear kurtis and palazos, etc. There are also shops where you can get sarees and other ethnic wears at reasonable rates. Overall good market where you can get everything. This place has metro connectivity through Pink line. To avoid crowds one can go shopping at around 11 am or so. The crowd increases mostly during evening. It is also too crowded during the weekend, especially on Sunday.

One can buy clothes, winter garments, plastic items, toys, home decor items, footware, watch shops etc. Branded shops are also available. For a quick bite you have here Haldiram, Pizza Hut, Burger King etc. There is a multi store parking available for parking cars which costs just around 20 rupees an hour. Delhi delicacies like roasted corn, sandwiches etc one can have at very cheap price.
