I rent a car and a driver thru Savaari.com for 7 days traveling to Kasol, Rishikesh, Agra and New Delhi, total distance is 2000km, if exceed 2000km, need to pay 13rupee/km. Journey is great except the argument and bad communication with the driver. The driver is very much we don’t like. 1, He had very bad habit while driving: open the door on the highway, main road, and street, then spits out. This is very dangerous. 2, he is complaining about the long-time driving, also complain about the bad road drive, he suddenly sighs during the drive, and shows unwilling faces, this infect us a lot, he made the whole atmosphere in the car very negative. 3, he didn’t give me the parking receipt, but ask me for parking fee. I told him at least 5 times including text messages and whatsapp messages to keep the parking receipt. 4, he is impolite. Maybe this is a culture-difference thing. People normally say β€œthank you”, β€œ please” to other, however, he make us feel he is very rude. 5, we had a very bad argument while driving from Kasol to Rishikesh. He insists that he knows the way and he drive according to the bus routes, however, he stopped on the way for 7 times to ask other people the direction of Rishikesh. We finally get on the right direction, however the distance is already longer than we supposed to drive. Same situation happened while driving from rishikesh to agra, he did drive to the wrong way for few times( in the high way, he made U turns and drive to the same way for 3 times and stop to ask people where is the direction) , however i didn’t argue with him, it’s very energy consuming, and he doesn’t speak English, even tho i call the customer service to help me translate, he probably still insists that he did not drive to the wrong route to make the distance longer. 6, one week before my journey, i made the booking thru email, i am worried about the language barrier, so i send the email to confirm again, customer service told me the driver can speak english but not fluently. However, driver doesn’t speak english, half of the time he didn’t understand my words, most of the time i didn’t understand his words, this causes so many other problems. 7, on 26th afternoon (one more day left to finish the journey) , he told me that we drive 40km extra, i need to pay. I said you are the one driving to the wrong way, i am not gonna pay. We also tried to call the customer service to help us to understand each other. After i gave the last payment to the driver, he said he is not coming to pick us to the airport on the next day, because i didn’t pay the extra 40km. What makes me more angry is that, in the booking details the extra KMs is 13rupee/km, he told me is 15rupee/km. He drove away and left at noon on 26th June, not finished his job. And all the receipts (tax, toll, parking) he finally gave to me are not match the money i spent, all the amount on receipt added up is less than the money i paid. 8, he told my friend that i should pay for his accommodation and food, WTF? it was written clearly that the car rental payment includes driver’s accommodation and food. He took our water without even asking, we found it out on 26th June, we realized that the bottles of water we bought are missing everyday. While driving in Himachal, i ask the driver to turn on the AC cuz it’s flat road, it’s super warm in the car. He said: no, the road is not good. I told him: i have been to himachal for 2 times, this road me and my friend drive for 4times, we had no problem turning on the AC, i know how to drive and when to turn off AC, don’t fool me. He said: to save the gasoline. I got angry: I paid everything i should pay, including the gasoline, now you try to save money and not provide the service??? I complains to the customer service, finally he turned on AC. He asked for money tips on 26th June, i said i don’t have money for tips, i spent more than i thought already, he complains again. the driver is the horrible part of our journey, i would not recommend anyone to hire a car and driver in this platform.

We used Savaari for our trip to Rajasthan, though overall exp okay, but there are lot of improvements areas: - Such Savaari web site not able access international cards -campanion iOS app is not available - we rented car one way, but they implcitly charged us for return including tolls

This is just a horrible experience with Savaari. I had a flight from Mumbai early in the morning at 5.20 AM soI booked a cab through savaari 10 days prior for 2.30 AM as it was during lockdown so I ensured I do not get stuck and could reach to the airport on time therefore I took confirmation on twitter as well as their customer care no. was not working. They confirmed n asked me not to worry and they will take care of my booking but unlikely totally opposite happened. I did not not receive any cab information till 2 AM on the booking and 2.30 am I was suppose to leave and it was so difficult during lockdown to find out transportation, . somehow I managed to reached out to the airport with the help of few of my friends. I almost missed my flight because of them. They did not even bother to inform you about cancellation or anything. such a worst service ever and they called me up at 10 am in the morning that you had a booking with us, i was like what the hell wrong with them. Till that time also they were not sure that they missed my booking, after few minutes checking in their system and said sorry we missed your booking. I mean you should be ashamed of saying this, such careless customer service I have never seen. strongly not recommended.

Recently booked a 8 day journey in Rajasthan starting from Jaipur covering Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Ajmer, Ranthambore and ending in Jaipur again. Booking management process over phone is good. CSR personnel is excellent. Car was decent and clean. We paid money partly (25%) as upfront deposit, rest was paid by filling fuel in the car and paying in cash installment over the duration for driver expenses and major chunk at the end. But one has to keep track of all the payments. Toll and parking are not covered hence we have to keep track of it separately. Even though fastag is operational now, we preferred to pay by cash since keeping track of payment is simpler that way. But savaari should come up with some solution for this. At the time of this trip, majority of the toll booths are still not using fastag hence it wasn't a major botheration. Finally about the driver. He didn't have local knowledge of the roads in the state, not even for in between the major cities, leave alone the tourist attractions in these cities. Thanks to Google maps, we didn't have any problems. But Google maps don't know about road conditions hence we had problems on Jaisalmer-jodhpur sector. On the positive side, the driver couldn't push us to only stores where he got commission and we could visit stores/places of our choice. Also he didn't ask for tip at the time of final payment is a big positive. Overall were very happy as not having to bother with parking at tourist attractions and navigating through crowded lanes of unknown places is a huge convenience. Price is also reasonable.

Team Savaari did a great job of finding us a very good Innova Krista and a great great driver for our long road trip in Rajasthan. End of trip payment process needs to be improved , there has to be an online payment option for that as well. Paying large amounts in cash at the end of a long trip is very challenging.

We booked an Innova Crysta for local trips in Jaipur. The booking process was very convenient and user friendly. Having paid for the trip in advance, there were not payment issues at the end of the trip. The driver Mr Wasim Khan, was polite, well turned out and well spoken. Vehicle picked us up on time from the airport and dropped us back on time. Vehicle itself was very clean and comfortable. Only feedback given to the company is that a bottle of water in the car would have been a nice touch! Will use this service again !
