*It is the only university in the world ?which has 21 engineering college.
*Spread across several hectares it has various departments and main building which holds heritage significance.
The main building was once the British governor's office.
*Now all the administration work takes place here.
*It has very maintained and clean garden with dazzling flowers.(refer the images attached).
*You'll get to see the mesmerising visual of the flowers of different species.
*There are shrubs, cutted down with beautiful designs.
*The building architecture is amazing, gives a feel of a royal palace.
*Aside the building you can have rest and can enjoy the bliss and serene environment present over there.
*Starting from the main entrance there is a granden for the outside citizens to do excercise, walk,jog etc. In this garden there is a huge statue of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj which gives more beauty to the garden.
*It is a must visit place if you visit Pune university.
*Coming down towards the main building there are many more statue of Great leaders of India.
*There is an open gym for the citizens.
Canteens are also available and affordable.
*University has different and all types of department, mentioning Pali & Sanskrit department which are one of the oldest language of India.
*It has botanical garden with different types of trees, shrubs, species.
* The garden is named after the Queen ? Alice. Her grave is present in that garden.(Google more for history).
*Overall it is very rich and unique experience of the Pune university which give us a immense pleasure.
