★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is quite nice. Starting from upholstery to nitty gritty details in decor. Their way of welcoming was warmly. Now comes to designs and designer - loads of options to get yourself confused with and Sayanti herself so polite and nice as a person. She is there to listen and deliver what is required.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lesson learnt: shouldn't order online. There might be quality differences between the advertised product and the one you get. I had noticed a minor difference after receiving the product (blouse with knatha-stitch) which I didn't report thinking it is expected in anything handmade. But the day I wore it, my friends and family pointed out more glaring issues in the blouse I ordered. I immediately brought it to the notice of the designer by sending her out details of the discrepancies I saw. Since it was a piece of art, the minor differences were making the piece not so appealing and was making it look like a inferior quality copy. To me, it definitely didn't look like a SGDS production w.r.t its perfection. Sayanti (the designer and owner) immediately called me up and mentioned that people prefer to buy handstitched ones from offline exhibitions after close inspection of handmade products. She infact offered me to return my product but I wasn't very comfortable as I had worn it once. I wrote to her after that to come to a common ground (I was expecting a partial refund may be but didn't spell it out clearly). I also felt I was being too harsh with her during the festival time so I tried to placate my feedback to her. It has been almost 25 days now. I haven't heard from her post that phone call or whatsapp note. So I understand she doesn't want to interact any more with a customer who wasn't too happy with the product bought online. I can understand in a world full of appreciative posts for handmade and #vocalforlocal products, my feedback is the odd-one-out so doesn't require much attention. Thus my generic comment here to all fellow buyers is : please buy handmade products after close inspection as exquisite boutiques/studios might not do due-diligence quality checks before sending out the parceled goods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello Sayanti, I hope to share my review with you and the future customers here again, only because you chose to turn off your facebook reviews after I posted this without any responses or services. On course of my wedding, I have worked with innumerable designers on my blouses and sarees. I am sorry to mention that the blouse I received from you has been pretty aweful compared to my expectations.
It is a maroon blouse with white stitches. Inspite of providing you with a blouse with pads (for measurement purposes), we received a blouse without any pads. I understand I will be able to wear a bra with it, but that is beyond my comfort zone. At the very least, especially at this price range, I expected to be informed of this change before delivery. I live in the States, so when I realized these issues, I didn’t have time for any alterations.
Nevertheless, I would have not mentioned this to you, unless the next thing happened. I wore the blouse for less than 2 hr on my wedding morning in an AC banquet. The red color transfered to the white stitches and now they look horrible. I don’t think I will be able to wear this blouse again. In a nutshell, I am pretty disappointed, especially as because of your customer service (I was told by your employee that you will call me back) and the quality of items received.
