The ambience of this branch of SBI is very good unlike the other branches of SBI where so much crowd is present all the time. The schedules of the bank are also very good because they provide services in the weekends also (Saturday & Sunday - Open). Due to this working day system, one may get his banking work done in one's free time also, because most of the people have their free time from their respective duties on Saturday & Sunday only. You don't have to wait for a long queue to get your turn. The deposit system is also very good. You get a machine where you can have receipt of the deposit. But, the counting system is bad as hell because the counting machine that is available in bank for the cashier is malfunctioning. It does not count all the notes at one go, resulting the extra wastage of time and lack of confidentiality. Everytime I come here, except the branch manager I see only two employees: one does some clerical works and the other one does cashier's. The cashier is not good enough in nature. He talks rudely. I've seen another cashier earlier, he was very polite but the current one is not. (Update: He has started talking with me gently. I am with it and I hope he is talking gently with everyone ?) Today, only one staff member (the cashier) is present and even branch manager is absent/on holiday. I have my work from another employee but he is not available right now so I'm waiting for him for more than 45 minutes. I wanted to close my account from the main branch and open another one here but, the procedure is so filthy. They never tell you everything together. One day they'll tell you one thing, you'll go second day, they'll tell you second thing and so on. Nothing is told at once. The most important concern here is "there is no security guard". In my 8-9 visits, I never saw any security guard here, even his cabin is always seen empty. This is a major safety issue because there should always be a security guard whether it is for bank's safety or the customers' safety. The ""Photography is prohibited"" poster on the bank is pasted somewhere that no-one can see. It should be pasted at some place where every customer may see & read it. Covid19 Update: In line with the Global Epidemic Covid19 measures, people are coming here with MASKS COVERING their FACES still there is NO SECURITY GUARD.
