Service wise I won't give SBI loans 100% because I had to visit multiple times for small issues from bank's side. But for loans, any day I would prefer a govt bank as compared to a Pvt bank because of trust etc. In govt bank there are no hidden charges or terms or conditions, they also have to follow govt/rbi guidelines so they can't exploit customers i.t.o money.
This is my personal choice and can differ from general consensus.
