★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not be fooled by its name, 'Science Garden' as there is nothing scientific about this garden! It is an above average size garden with some common garden variety plants/flowers.
There is nothing fancy about this garden. However, if you see it in a positive light, you will find that this particular garden is mostly less crowded than the rest of the public recreational places. That is a blessing in a crowded place like Virar.
This place is at a walking distance of about 15/20 minutes straight from Virar West railway station. You can also take a shared auto rickshaw from the station which will charge you the basic fare of about Rs.10 or Rs.15 per seat. The timings are in the morning between 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and in the evenings between 4 pm to 8 pm.
The cleanliness level of this garden is good. There is no restroom or kids activities. It is a place where you can take a leisurely walk in the evening or just sit comfortably on the ground doing nothing.
