Earlier rescue teams were called from outside, now ready in Rajasthan itself On this occasion, Home Minister Kataria also expressed happiness and appreciated the promptness and efficient training of SDRF soldiers. Home Minister Kataria thanked the Chief Minister for budget allocation for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment of SDRF. He said that currently one unit of NDRF used to be available in Ajmer and teams were called from other states in times of need. - He expressed confidence that now there is no need to call a team from outside, but our team will be able to help in other states as well. Director General of Police OP Galhotra praised the demo performed by SDRF on the occasion. Country's youngest SDRF team completed training in just one and a half year - DGP OP Galhotra told that this is the youngest SDRF team in the country, prepared with skilled training in just two years. In the budget announcement for the year 2012-13, it was decided to constitute SDRF in Rajasthan. Then in the year 2013-14, 800 constables were recruited till December 2015 as RAC constables. Subsequently, till April 2015, 320 posts in SDRF were recruited for supervision and other work. In the absence of training, the big question was how to save lives in disaster - But how to protect the lives and property of the people of Rajasthan by providing immediate relief in the disaster was the biggest question. Its command was handed over to ADG BL Sony. Who started training for disaster relief in the year 2016-17. For this, 8 companies of jawans scattered in 30 districts of Rajasthan were formed. He was posted at each divisional headquarters. Apart from qualified NDRF trainers, these soldiers were trained from other reputed institutions of the country. In these, skilled soldiers were selected and made trainer and master trainer. Thus, this training was completed by March 2018. 16 trucks sent to 8 divisions to save lives in disaster - ADG SDRF BL Soni informed that SDRF personnel will now be present with new state-of-the-art equipment to deal with any kind of disaster in the state. The fleet includes 16 trucks, 48 ​​boats, 9 fiber boats, cutting machines, life jackets including various types of ropes, helmets, emergency lights and other essential equipment. - Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria flagged off these 16 trucks. Which will be sent to the headquarters in eight divisions of the state. SDRF teams present there will be able to use them in the event of a disaster.
