★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a scambaiter, I have absolute disgust in these ratbags. I gave them access to my VM and they screwed it up. Used up all of my computer memory, screwed over the computer (by locking me out) and then wanting me to pay up $190 due to "viruses" luckily I had a snapshot of the VM. Good ol' screenshots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Call them only if you feel like trolling a fake tech support. If you have a real problem with your PC, DO NOT CALL THEM! They are a scam and they only want to tell you have viruses even though you have a completely clean computer. Basically, they are a scam and try to sell you their extremely pricy software that most likely doesn't even work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Securebit Technologies is a scam. I was lured into their service over a year ago when they presented themselves as customer service from my Antivirus provider. I paid $199 then which they said would cover my computers for life. My computer was locking up and I had little choice but they did restore my computer to operating condition.
Guess what? They just contacted me again to say they received a warning that my computer had been infected by a virus. Again they represented themselves as customer support from my Antivirus provider. Again I let them take control of my computer but only briefly. They said my network was contaminated and all the computers on the system would be infected. They showed me normal administrative files on my computer with events that were recorded by windows under "warning" or "error". These are normal event logs but they try to convince you that these logs indicate your computer and all others on your network are infected. Once I realized that this was not my Antivirus provider, I stopped their control before they could activate their malware. Now I have to find out how to remove their program safely without it unleashing more havoc on my system.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE DO YOU GIVE THEM CONTROL OF YOUR COMPUTER!!!!
They want to download a computer cleaner under Securebit Technologies. DO NOT LET THEM INSTALL THIS PROGRAM ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!
I have investigated sites to remove their software only to find a number of these removal sites want to download more cleaners and they themselves are malware. Do not trust Trojan Killer. Read reviews on Google before you download. For that matter, do your homework before you download any cleaner. Best to work with your Antivirus provider.
