It is accredited with an (A) grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This college serves the fundamental right of a human being, education, at a very affordable cost.

I applied for BSc Bio in 2016.
I also performed very poorly in my 12th board exams and was quite anxious with my ability to get admission in a good college.
Then one rainy morning came a call on my phone.... Totally unexpected.
The man from the college office said I have been selected for the course I've applied.
Visited here as a first timer college guy.
But shy. Bit nervous.
That time TMC was quite strong ? and rampant here. Many influential guys had some sway here.
Although I'm totally uninterested in politics. The activities of the student union were overwhelming. And the fest they launched were top notch. I was impressed.
Now coming to college building. This college has been equipped with solar panels on it's rooftop that supplies with a little amount of electricity, A telescope on the rooftop?
Although the college lacks in having it's own playground... it has a beautiful library. The college is affiliated to Calcutta University. Has three shifts namely Morning, Day and Evening.
Any student aspiring to study here... keep your head high, study hard, respect your teachers and college faculty members, don't be shy and enjoy a lot here... as 3 years will pass in a matter of moments.
Biggest of all Be a proud Jaipurian!
I have many fond memories here and shall cherish them lifelong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seth Anandram Jaipuria College ( শেঠ আনন্দরাম জয়পুরিয়া কলেজ ) was founded by Sri Mangturam Jaipuria in memory of his illustrious father. It was housed in the famous Sovabazar Rajbari, a landmark in the cultural history of the city of Kolkata. The College, since its inception, has been associated with many eminent personalities who were involved in the Indian Nationalist Movement. One of them, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, inaugurated the College on 22 December 1945.
In memory of the illustrious founder of the college, Late Seth Mangturam Jaipuria, the trust and the governing body of the college award gold medals annually to the successful students who secure the highest marks in the three disciplines of arts, science, and commerce in the university examinations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the best colleges in North Kolkata. Good infustructure. Classrooms and laboratories are well equiped. Professors are very polite and very helpful, especially those, of the department of Physics, Electronics and Computer Science. They explain the tough concepts of Physics, with simple calculations. Always encourages the students. The college is located at about 2 minutes of walking distance from "Sovabazar Sutanuti Metro Station". Hence, one can easily access the North-South metro services to reach the college.
Overall, it is one of the best college as mentioned in the first line.

The professors and madams are so gentle and amiable in every aspects that you will always feel nurtured. They take care of all students equally. Even after so many years when I come here I get a very warm welcome from both the academic, non-academic and administrative persons belonging to this college. When I still need help in some academic matters at present, they always help and guide me at their best. Throughout my twenty four years of academic journey, the days spend in the jaipuria college will remain as the best and the most beautiful memories for ever in my life.
