★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an extremely bad experience at shades. I was looking for bridal wear on rent and I found that this store has the option to rent. I asked the staff there and they asked to have a look at the collection and after that they would be able to share the details. After shortlisting a few pieces, I asked their prices and a few other details like the rental formalities etc to which they said that we are new and the owner(who was busy upstairs with other customers) will be able to tell you. I asked them to call him and to which they said that he will come in a while. Me and my mother waited for almost 15-20 mins. Post reminding the staff after 3-4 times the owner came downstairs. Rather than asking us our requirements or what exactly we want he kept on instructing his staff that since the wedding is in feb, hence I won’t be able to assist them before dec or jan. He did not even listen to what we were asking and neither he was bothered. He was extremely arrogant and rude, that he did not understand the importance of our time. I don’t understand how such a person is running such a huge store with so much arrogance. Mr. Owner have the courtesy to understand and listen to what exactly a customer wants rather than just mindlessly talking. Also train your staff so that customers don’t have to deal with you. Extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour. This place is not recommended at all.
