★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shafa Home is one of the Premier and oldest Rehabilitation Centre in the country. It is a place which we call home, all the residents stay together like a family sharing a bond. A bond of love, care and concern, which we re-generate amongst us during treatment. We forgot this bond with our family and friends during addiction time. I’ve learned so many life skills. It changed my daily routine from a wrong track to the right path. In Shafa home, we have lot of activities to do, we have indoor games, outdoor games, we go for morning walk which helps us to stay fit and dance sessions where one get in touch with his feelings without influence of any substance. Here we meet different people and learn from their past mistakes and their experiences, and you learn new life skills like cooking, cultural activities, public speaking and staying in a clean surroundings without using any mood altering substance.

They not only provide treatment for the addicts but work tenaciously with the families of the addicts too. They regularly hold family counselling meeting with each and every residents families. The counselors of Shafa Home are not only highly qualified but their dedication towards the patients is highly commendable. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have done my internship at Shafa Home. I can vouchsafe that Shafa Home is the best rehabilitation center and deaddiction center in the country. From my personal experience, I have seen that they take utmost care of their patients. Their treatment is very effective. Proper hygiene and caring is provided here. The food is most nutritious. I give credit to the counselling team for they work very hard for the welfare of their patients. Shafa Home is the only center i found which involves families in the counselling too.

Its really an amazing place and the program followed here taught me so many things like talking responsibility, value system, understanding and developing consequence thinking.
