★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an amazing musical experience and Journey for me and my daughter. We both joied SMA as an amateur not knowing anything about music.
But the trained and immensely knowledgeable teachers like - Shagota ma'am, Rani maa, Shagerika, Summi & Kaanak ma'am made it all so easy to understand each and every aspect of music.
The teachings- Hindustani classical with a dash of Bollywood is fun way to learn and grow. The songs, Raags, rthym everything is taught with utmost ease and comfort. You will fall in love with music one more time.
Its been a journey of 4 years and many more to come. ❤❤❤❤

I am happy on my journey with SMA
I like to sing with Song going on any platform
I didn't know anything about Raag or Alankar just go with song (jaise kahi pe bhi gana baj raha he bas uske saath gaana hai )
but after joining SMA I try to understand about such thing which is obviously not possible in six month but will keep on my journey with SMA.
Shagota mam and Sagarika mam are so helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually am not a person to write reviews on Google. I am going to make an exception for Shagota Music Academy. Been a student under Shagota Mam and Sagreika Mam for more than a year now and truly enjoyed the journey. The seven reasons (It has to be seven when it comes to music. Guess why!;-))
I would recommend Shagota Music Academy for those interested to learn music is because:
1. They make learning music a fun and enriching experience.
2. Their patience and guidance
3. Their motto is "Learn and Daily Practice" through shared lessons without which one cannot get better
4. Demystifying the notations to learn the song better.
5. Making us understand the theory of music
6. Unique group activity called Jam session to help get us get over stage fright and singing in public.
7. The warmth and the genuine interest in each student so that the students do better whether it is a small kid or a grand mother.
Personally, I see a marked difference in my singing and knowledge about music since I started to learn here. I am sure you will too!

I never expected so much precision in teaching and such a lovely caring amazing teacher like Shagota ma'am.
