Beaware of pickpockets and some robber merchants , there are some very good and reliable shops in the market like bataji for cables and electrical goods also... Make sure you have a bag in which you carry your mobile and precious things . Carry your bag at front side . Its near paan dariba and clock tower of chowk allahabad . Allahabad Kotwali and ALLAHABAD junction is also very near.....

You must not spend much time there, rapidly buy stuffs from electronics you wanna buy & leave that place.
